Personal Tuition

To support students who may be at other schools the college also provides a home tutoring service.

We have over 50 highly qualified and experienced tutors, across a wide range of subjects, who work in St Albans and surrounding areas.

All our tutors have had enhanced criminal record checks, and would be interviewed, with references being taken, prior to selection.

In most instances our tutors also work or have previously worked at the college.

Lessons can take place in either the tutors or students home, or at the college.

Our tutors are able to benefit from our support of the college, giving them access to text books, past papers and other teaching resources.

Fees for Home Tutoring (2011/2012)

Individual Tuition £31 per hour

Paired Tuition £19.50 per student, per hour

Travel Fee £5 per visit (charged if tutor travels to the students home)

All fees are invoiced in arrears at the end of each month
