Mathematics & Science
The College has a thriving Science Department with a team of specialist and highly experienced graduate teachers, many of whom are examiners.
We aim to develop in students the scientific disciplines of research, analysis and logical thought and to develop their ability to think individually and creatively.
Our A-level mathematics students are able to follow a modular scheme which combines pure mathematics with statistics and mechanics. Each course tries to emphasis a clear and thorough understanding of concepts and techniques, backed up by regular exam practice and past paper analysis.
