St Albans tutors is a registered and accredited centre with the following examining boards:
AQA Edexcel OCR WJEC
To be entered for a exam through the college please print off and complete the Private Candidate Form** and post the form to the college, together with payment . You will also be required to provide copies of the following documents, when making your application:
- Photo ID (copy of passport or drivers licence)
- Details of previous exam sittings (please provide copies of all relevant exam statements)
- Evidence of Access Arrangements * (if required)
- Access Arrangements (Extra time, use of a word-processor, a scribe or a reader.
If when making an application you also wish to apply for a specific access arrangement, you will need to provide evidence in the form of a copy of an up to date Educational Psychologist Reports ; which clearly specifies the access arrangement to be provided.
** When completing the Private Candidate it is important ensure that the all the details given are accurate and correct. We can only process your application on the basis of the information you provide and

AS/A-Level
Per AS or A2 Module: £75
GCSE
£140 (linear exams)
£40 per module (modular exams)
Fees for Access Arrangement
Reader/ Scribe: £12ph
Separate Room: £15ph
Use of Word Processor £10 per sitting

Late entries are made at the discretion of the college and will be subject to a late entry fee.
